Spiritual Direction

The Immaculate Conception Center is part of a network of Spiritual Directors providing spiritual direction to individuals in the New England area.  Please contact us if you are interested in finding a Spiritual Director or training to become a Spiritual Director.

Spiritual Direction

Regular Spiritual Direction is offered in-person or remotely (via video) to those who are seeking companionship, guidance and support on their spiritual journey.

Spiritual Exercises

Trained Directors guide individuals through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.  The exercises are especially helpful for discernment, decision-making, and spiritual growth.

Training for Directors

Training is available to individuals seeking to become certified Spiritual Directors.  ICC has partnered with Franciscan University of Steubenville to offer this 3-year course.

Supervision for Directors

Supervisors offer ongoing supervision and oversight to Spiritual Directors who are active in the ministry.

Discernment

Are you seeking clarity in understanding God's will for your life?  Are you making important decisions?  Spiritual Direction can help you to discern where God is leading you as you consider possibilities and make choices.

Why should I seek Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual Growth

Is your spiritual life deepening or do you feel spiritually stagnant?  Has prayer lost some of its vibrancy and become a burden?  Spiritual Direction can provide you tools when you experience spiritual dryness and help rekindle a sense of God's love and presence in your life.

Meaning & Purpose

Do you struggle to find meaning in your daily activities?  Have you lost your sense of purpose?  Spiritual Direction can help you rediscover the essence of your life and lead to a greater sense of wholeness, authenticity, and right relationship with God.
