Training is available to individuals seeking to become certified Spiritual Directors. ICC has partnered with Franciscan University of Steubenville to offer this 3-year course.

Supervisors offer ongoing supervision and oversight to Spiritual Directors who are active in the ministry.

Most directors are able to meet online using facetime, zoom, or a similar video-communication app.
Do directors charge a fee?
Some directors do charge a fee, while others do not. Directors in training offer direction free of charge.
Must I follow the guidance of my director?
Your director may offer suggestions, but you have no obligation to follow them; your individual freedom will always be respected.
What if my director is not a good fit for me?
Individuals can end the relationship with their director at any time and seek out one that is a better fit, if desired.
